Hello crafting peeps. Thanks for stopping by to check out this easy and fun tutorial about how to make a GLITTERY LACE CROWN headpiece. OH.. Did I mention that when you add some ribbon to the ends… it is adjustable to?
I love making these lace crowns. They are so simple and elegant. There are also so many reasons and occasions to wear these crowns. Just to name a few... bachelorette parties, princess birthday parties, Halloween costumes...the list goes on and on!! Plus you can paint them whatever color you want. They take a bit of time to make because of the dry time for the fabric stiffener... and the paint, but they are well worth it. Add rhinestones or crystals to make them extra sparkly. You can also cut the lace any length you want and use whatever style suits you. I have listed all supplies below. Most items an be found at your local craft store. I found most items at my local Joann's.
Lace Trim- Cut to 10 1/2 - 15 Inches
Fabric Stiffener- PLAID Brand- Stiffy (Found at Joann.com)
Metallic Paint - Craft Smart- GOLD- Metallic Paint
Super Fine Gold Glitter
Hot Glue Gun - Glue Sticks
Wax Paper - I used this to paint on so that the lace does not stick
