Hey hey headband lovers. Do you want to know how to make this super cute headband? Well.....I was reluctant to make this video because I didn't want to reveal how I make my headbands. Purely selfish, I guess but.... then I thought to myself...WHY NOT? It may not be the right way, but it's the way that I have been making them for the past 12 years. I often times have people ask me how I make them and what materials I use. So I decided to just go for it. Hope you enjoy it. Click above to watch.
I have listed all supplies below. Most items can be found at your local craft store.
*Fabric Scrap- Depending on the width of the plastic headband form you decide to use you should measure the length of the headband , from end to end and then add 1 Inch or so for whatever width you use. The headband I used in the video is 1 Inch at the widest point and it measures 15 Inches from end to end. So I used a fabric scrap that was 2" Wide by 16 -17 Inches in Length.
*Headband Form or Headband Blank- Check out one of my favorite shop for supplies. The Soda Pop Shop- http://www.thesodapopshop.net. Use code DARLINGSANDDIAMONDS for 10% off of your order.
*3/8 Inch Wide Grosgrain Ribbon- This also varies when you use a wider headband form.
*Glue Gun and Glue Stick
